Module - Page Form Overview

Pages: Pages are the main place holder for the information you wish to display on your site. Think of the page as a picture frame that holds your information. Each page is comprised of general page information, frames, and panels.
  1. General: Where you can view the general information about the page. When adding a new page this is where you will enter the new page information
    1. Title: Enter in the name of the page
    2. Parent: If the page will be a sub-page of an existing page you will select its parent. If the page is a "main page" there will not be a parent.
    3. Background Image: If you have background image for the page this is where you will select the image.
    4. Page URL: This is where you will write the page URL (example: index.php). All space and underscore characters will be converted to dashes automatically when you save the form for better indexing by search engines.
    5. Publish Button:  This button will actually create the page file and add it to your site.  Once you have filled in the name and clicked "Save", you can click this button to publish the page.
    6. Status: Where you can select if the page is active, inactive or admin lock. If the page is not active then your end users will not be able to view the page.
    7. Save/Remove: To save all of the settings you just entered click save. You can also remove the page by clicking remove.
  2. Content: Where you will be able to add the content or information to each page you have created. This tab also shows you what content you have already added.
    1. Add Frames / Frames: Frames are sections of the page that are made of panels. They are place holders on the page for content you wish to display on the Page. You can have as many frames as you wish on each Page. Each frame can have up to four panels of module content.
    2. Panels: Panels give you the ability to add module content and customize the look of each panel. You can add 1 to 4 Panels to any Frame. This gives you the ability to break apart information that is displayed in the frame. This is also where you will add the different types of module content that you have created.  Each panel has three tabs of information:
      1. Content:  This area displays the modules already added to this panel.  You can move each module up and down to display them in the proper order, as well as remove them entirely.
      2. Add:  Here you will be able to add multiple types of module content to each panel in the frame.  To add the content click on the Add tab and select the type of content you are adding and then select the specific content.
      3. Style:  This is where advanced users can add CSS tags.
  3. Meta: This is where you can enter in your meta data. Meta data is also known as your keyword data for search engines. This data helps search engines find your site when end users are searching for specific key words.
  4. Special: This section is specific to every Blocs system.
